What I am About.

Well, I'm a committed born again christian woman. I love all the Titus 2 stuff and I desire to really serve my Lord and my family.
But, you know what, the more I fellowship with my most precious friend, Jesus, the more drawn I am to every heart that I meet, saved, unsaved, saint, sinner.
I hope that, if we should stumble across each other today, that you feel as though you have been left with a great sense of joy, a new sense of peace, laughter, fun and happiness. That you have the energy to face another lonely mile, that the journey is not so long or so hard. And that in actual fact that you have met with someone in whom the Spirit of Jesus Christ lives.
I take great joy in encouraging mums that they are doing a fabulous job, even if there is room for improvement. Very hard to do your very best when you are being heavily scrutinized.
That their kids are lovely and that they have a great family.
If you know of a perfect family, I sure would love to meet them; or maybe not. Don't know if I could stand the pressure.
Hope you keep on kicking back, and rest assured, that we don't know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future.

Getting my home in order.

What a work in progress! The other day I tackled the Tupperware cupboard. Today I am going to tackle two large linen cupboards that I have. One, in my laundry room caters for all the things in my kitchen and dining area, plus table runners and doilies for throughout my home. The other, in my hallway, holds all our bathroom and bedroom linens. Bath mats, towels, hand towels and face washers, as well as the single bed sheets. My downstairs linen cupboard, which is a job for another day houses all my sheets, quilt covers etc.
Sounds pretty grand, doesn't it? Well, it's not, it's just spacious.
Now, I am not going to tell you all how I am going to clean my linen cupboards. That is a no brainer. Just put the same kind of things together, and don't get too hung up about it. Sometimes a washer might get mixed up with some towels. No worries. Think of the lovely surprise some one is going to get when they pull that out.  They might have had a boring day at work, and, well, you have just made their day.
So when you get that job crossed off the list you can make yourself a cuppa and think of the next thing to do.
I just want to share with you and easy recipe that I make which is really popular, quick and yummy.
We call it Weet Bix slice. It is made from weet bix which is a breakfast cereal. You can google it if you need to see what Weet Bix is.

Weet Bix Slice.

3 Weet Bix(crunched up) ; 1 cup SR Flour; 1 cup Coconut; 3/4 cup brown sugar (firmly packed) . All together in a bowl.
Add 125.g. butter (melted) Mix together. Press into a greased lamington pan and cook in a moderate oven for 15 minutes. (You can do 20, but it goes too hard).
The other thing I add is choc chips or any other thing that your family likes. If I am going to the trouble of making something  yummy, I never try to spoil it with something healthy. ;-)
When it is cooked and cooled I ice the slice with Chocolate Icing and sprinkle with coconut.

This is just so easy, I can do it in my sleep. I really mean that. I don't sleep very well, maybe only two or three hours and I am always exhausted, so I often make it at 2 or 3 in the morning when I can't sleep.
I hope everyone has a beautiful Easter. Remember Him. He has purchased for us Relationship with our Creator, Freedom to grow and develop as His child, Forgiveness, Mercy and Grace. Amen.
